The Wheel of Death — also billed internationally as the Space Wheel — is a rotating steel wheel raised on a rig at height. The performers work on the outer rim, walking and running while the wheel turns, without a safety line. The tension is structural, not theatrical: nothing but the performer's own balance keeps them on the rim.
In our programme the wheel is the closing act. It is deliberately placed last because it is the moment an audience stops talking to each other and starts holding its breath.
Two practical consequences matter to a programmer. First, the act is silent — there is no dialogue, no narration, no language barrier, which makes it usable in any market without localisation. Second, it works at two scales: as a headline act inside a full circus programme, or as a standalone item inside a gala, opening ceremony or sports event.

The engagement is structured as turnkey delivery. The division is simple:
- You provide: the site, the audience, and a local contact who can help with filings.
- We provide: the apparatus, the artists, the rigging and technical crew, the safety officer, and the entire process — from site survey and licensing through load-in, rehearsal, performance and teardown.
Where an engagement takes place in a market that is new to us, we work to your local licensing and inspection requirements and build the paperwork schedule into the planning stage rather than discovering it on site.

- Site survey. Free of charge. Photographs, plans or a video walkthrough are usually enough for a first assessment.
- Technical plan and quotation. Issued with the venue profile, the format you want, and the dates you are targeting.
- Licensing and filings. Performance licensing, fire and power compliance, local filings — handled with you, not handed to you.
- Contract and schedule. Load-in, rehearsal and performance windows agreed with your operations team.
- Delivery. Setup, rehearsal, run, teardown.
For a fixed festival, holiday or opening date, start three to six months out. That window covers the survey, technical planning, local approvals and international logistics without paying for rush freight.
安全与维护Safety and maintenance
Safety is the precondition of touring, not a line in a brochure. The system behind the wheel:
- Three-stage inspection. Pre-show self-checks, between-show re-checks, and weekly deep maintenance on wheels, globes, rigging points and cables — every check documented and available for inspection.
- Emergency planning. A dedicated safety officer and an on-site medical point, with the full procedure rehearsed before the first public show.
- Weather protocol. Automatic performance suspension and re-scheduling triggers when conditions breach the limits.
- Insurance. Performance liability and third-party liability, fully covered.
- Certified crew. High-risk acts are performed only by artists holding specific credentials and stage experience — 100% credential coverage.

- Act licensing. The Wheel of Death alone, licensed into your existing show or venue.
- Residency. A long run in a theatre or destination, jointly operated with revenue sharing.
- Big-top touring. Full-month runs timed to holiday peaks, staged in our own 1,000-seat tent.
- Custom single shows. Openings, brand launches, countdown galas and sports-event warm-ups.

How much clear height does the Wheel of Death need?
The wheel segment requires a minimum clear height of 15 m. A full grand circus programme containing the wheel needs at least 12 m overall, with 15 m over the wheel position.
Can it be performed in a temporary big top?
Yes. The touring configuration needs a hard-standing site of at least 60 m × 45 m, which accommodates a 1,000-seat big top and the technical compound.
How far in advance should we book?
For a fixed festival or holiday date, plan three to six months ahead. That covers the site survey, technical planning, local licensing and international logistics.
Who handles licensing and safety paperwork?
We assist with performance licensing, fire and power compliance, local filings and maritime paperwork for water-based shows. The partner provides the site and the audience.
Is the act available on its own?
Yes — licensed as a single act into an existing show, or delivered as part of a full grand circus programme.
